Swatches are not appearing on my website

If swatches are not appearing on your website, or showing up incorrectly, go through the following checklist to ensure common errors.

1. Theme App Extension

Ensure that you have activated the embed app in your theme customization settings. To do this:
  • Go to your Shopify admin panel.
  • Navigate to Online Store > Themes.
  • Click Customize for your current theme.
  • Click the App embeds section on the left list.
  • Look for App Embed Swatch V2 and make sure it is enabled.

2. Variant List Settings

Open the Swatch Display App, hit the Variant List Settings page and verify the following checklist:
  • You need to click the button "save" after configuring the variant settings, a pop up displaying that "settings were successfully updated" need to show up, if not contact support.
  • You need to make sure that you enabled the swatch for collection/home page or/both swatch for product page on each variant.
  • If you choose "Swatch Color/Image" as a swatch type for any variant, you will need to click the "Edit variant option values", set the values and click save on that page, so that the values you entered take place. 

3. Swatch Design Settings

If this is your first time using the app, you will need to go through this settings at least once in order to display the swatches, please follow the checklist below:

  • Go through the "Swatch Product Page Design" if you have enabled "Swatches for product page" for at least one variant on your Variant List Settings (look at Point N°2 above).
  • Go through the "Swatch Home & Collection Page Design" if you have enabled "Swatches for home & collection page" for at least one variant on your Variant List Settings (look at Point N°2 above).
  • If you chose a Swatch type like "Text Swatch" for a variant where you enabled both "swatches for product page" and "swatches for home & collection page", you will need to setup the "Text Swatch Design" twice, one time inside the product page swatches design and another time inside the home & collection page swatches design, and don't forget to hit "Save" after customizing both these pages.
  • The previous point about Swatch type, needs to be applied to all the swatch types you chose in the "Variant List Settings" and also if you enabled the "Add to cart button" which you will find inside the "Collection & Home Page swatches design" section.
I followed the checklist and verified everything you mentioned, but I still can't see the swatches.
